The Shaker Heights Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is dedicated to facilitating the active and informed involvement of all parents and families to achieve the educational success and well-being of all children. Each Shaker school has a Parent Teacher Organization, and every parent/caregiver and teacher of a Shaker student is automatically a member. There are no fees to join the PTO!

Register for the Shaker Raider 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run. Or, sign up to volunteer at the Shaker Raider 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run. We hope to see you on October 3!

SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE AT SUNDAY GET DOWN - SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2026

Join us at the Sunday Get Down on Sunday, September 27 from 4 - 8 pm outside the Van Aken District Market Hall for dancing, music and a School Supply Drive! This event is free to attend. During the party, we will be collecting school supplies for Shaker students. If you are able, please bring school supplies to donate. Suggested supplies include: pencils, erasers pens, crayons, colored pencils, markers, Expo markers, highlighters, glue, glue sticks, notebooks, binders, backpacks, Kleenex and story books.

The Shaker Weekly eNews is distributed to families of current students as well as staff members on Friday evenings during the school year. Each school also sends a weekly e-newsletter to families on Sunday evenings during the school year. If you are a current family and you do not receive the Weekly eNews or the appropriate school e-newsletters, please be sure the District has your correct email address by contacting the Registrar's Office at 216-295-4321.
