Welcome Lomond Families!

The Lomond Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) facilitates and supports the involvement of families in the educational success and well-being of students.

Every parent/caregiver and teacher of a Shaker student is automatically a valued member of the PTO as there are no dues to pay or applications to fill out!  All parents and guardians of Lomond students are part of the Lomond PTO, and have the opportunity to volunteer their time and skills to support our school community.

The Lomond  PTO Executive Board is formed in the spring for the following school year, and is made up of volunteer PTO Officers who plan, organize and lead the efforts to strengthen the Lomond school community and support our students, families, teachers and staff. There are a number of subcommittees, projects and events that PTO manages, giving all PTO members the opportunity to participate directly in support of our school community.

Lomond PTO is part of the umbrella PTO Council which oversees, guides, and collaborates with each Shaker school's PTO. For additional information about PTO Council, please visit the PTO Council webpage.
