MERCER PTO WANTS YOU!
If you have thought about getting more involved, we would love your help. There are still a few open activity, event and committee chair roles for the 2021-2022 school year. Positions range from year-long commitments to one day events. Some positions can be done exclusively from home.
To learn more about various PTO positions and the approximate time commitment, please refer to the Mercer Event Coordinators and Committee Chair Roles document.
To sign up to chair an event or committee, please view the Sign Up Genius.

AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
Girls on the Run - Fall 2021. Open to Fourth Grade Girls at Mercer Elementary School. If space allows, the program will open to Third Grade Girls.
Mercer’s first Read-A-Thon was a huge success! We enjoyed a fun-filled week that helped to build excitement about literacy and raise money for the Mercer PTO.
Together, Mercer students logged over 12,000 minutes of reading during the Read-A Thon and raised $7,813. Thank you for your generosity! The money that was raised will directly benefit our students and teachers.
Listen to Mercer faculty and staff read some of their favorite stories:
Mrs. Stamm reading "The Bear and the Piano" by David Litchfield

Ms. Schlein reading "Dragon's Love Tacos" by Adam Rubin
Mrs. Janosek reading "The Day the Crayons Quit" by Drew Daywalt
Mr. DiScenna reading "Rachel: Preserving a Sense of Wonder" by Joseph Bruchac and Thomas Locker
Can you figure out who our mystery readers are for the Mercer Read-A-Thon?
