If you have a child at Fernway, you are automatically a valued member of Fernway's Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) as there are no dues to pay or applications to fill out! It takes a village to make all of our events and programs run smoothly so we invite you all to get involved and use your time and skills to support our school community. 

What does the PTO do? We host community building events, like the Back to School Picnic, ice skating at Thornton, our spring block party and more. We support efforts like our zero-cost book fair and show love to our teachers and staff through Teacher Appreciation week. We also raise funds through our annual Read-a-Thon and the upcoming Fall Fun Run and Festival. Plus so much more! 

Our fundraising events allow us to support some pretty unique opportunities for our students like the 3rd grade poetry coffeehouse, 4th grade exhibition, artist in residence experiences for kindergarten and 2nd grades and a trip to Pattersons for our 1st graders. Just to name a few! We’ve also been able to contribute things like the rock wall in the gym and fun community building activities like our annual ice skating event and the back to school picnic.
